Joe D'Amico - Chairman / CEO

Joe D’Amico has over 45 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry concentrated primarily in Louisiana and Texas. He has worked on numerous acquisitions, both large and small, operations including recompletions and workovers, reservoir engineering, and has had various management roles including the last two as Chief Operating Officer at Swift Energy Company and Chief Executive Officer at Southcoast Resources, LLC. While he was C.O.O. at Swift he assembled and directed a group of professionals whose work resulted in Swift being the largest oil producer in the state of Louisiana.

Joe has both a B.S. and a M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from LSU and a M.B.A. from the University of Houston.

Leslie R. Peters - President & Director

Mr Peters previously worked with Wood Mackenzie in Houston, Texas as Vice President, Global Strategic Accounts and Sole Client Manager and Sales Lead for a variety of global energy clients for the past 16 years. Prior to that he was with Arthur Anderson in Houston, Texas where he was Business Development Manager of Energy Consulting working directly with partners and staff to source and sell consulting services to global energy clients. Prior to that he was with Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA) in Boston, MA where he was Sales Director,  Financial Institutions and headed up research and consulting to the financial sector. Les holds an MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business, and a B.A. Economics from University of the South (Sewanee), Sewanee, Tennessee. Les is a Member of the Petroleum Club of Houston.

FRANK NEUKOMM - Vice President Finance / Director

Mr. Neukomm is a talented senior level executive with a background in finance, insurance, oil and gas and telecommunications. He is skilled at financial structuring and deal negotiation.

Since 1995, he has served as President of NeuHaus Advisors, Inc., a boutique merchant banking firm in Houston, Texas, which has helped develop businesses as diverse as energy technologies, telecommunications technologies and industrial services.

Mr. Neukomm currently serves as Chairman and CEO of American Security Resources Corporation and is a director of other small private and public entities.

Mr. Neukomm, an alumnus of Southern Methodist University, is an Eagle Scout. He is also a volunteer with the National Council Boy Scouts of America, the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and is Scoutmaster Emeritus and Eagle Coordinator of Troop 211 BSA at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Houston, Texas.

NICOLAS BOATWRIGHT- Vice President Louisiana / Director

At the age of 20, Mr. Boatwright began working on offshore platforms throughout the Gulf of Mexico, working on drilling rigs and production platforms.  Through “hands on experience” his vast knowledge and expertise include but are not limited to deep water drilling, work over and completions, wire line operations, coiled tubing operations and production of oil and gas. Mr. Boatwright has also developed and established his own multi-million corporation, Black Gold, Inc. He has introduced cutting edge technology with an artificial lift product and radial drilling perforations on land based wells; saving companies 50% of their overall expenditures as well as huge gains in well production. Within the last six years of developing and growing Black Gold, Inc., Mr. Boatwright has gained the confidence and business of well known associates and acquaintances worldwide. He has worked with several companies to develop multi-million projects by providing excellent service to maximize profits.

Dr. Markus Leishman - Director

Markus Leishman has had a 30-year career in petroleum exploration and development, working on projects both domestically and internationally with major international operators. He has held senior roles in Hess, Shell, BHP-Billiton and Statoil.

Markus has an extensive background in prospect analysis, reservoir modelling, well planning, drilling operations, reserves assessment, uncertainty, and risk analysis processes.

Markus’ initial career with Hess, working exploration and development projects based out of London, Rio de Janeiro, Dallas and Houston. He joined BHP-Billiton in 2004 in their Gulf of Mexico Deepwater group as lead development geologist and then served subsequently as global stratigrapher in an internal consulting group.

He was approached by Statoil in 2009 to become principal geologist and subsurface team leader of some of the largest US offshore developments, together with partners Chevron and Exxon. He then served as principal geologist in the global technology and projects group, working US on-shore unconventional plays and international projects. He acted as advisor for new opportunity assessment and screening, as well as coordinating research for the application of emerging technologies for enhanced production.

He left Statoil in 2016 to consult on various reservoir description, reservoir modelling, reserves analysis and development planning projects worldwide.

Markus holds a BSc. (Hons.) in Geology from the University of Glasgow and a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Aberdeen.

Paul Revard - Advisory Board

Mr. Revard is a 3rd Generation oil and gas operator in Oklahoma and Texas. He currently holds 1 of 8 elected positions on the Osage Indian Minerals Council which is empowered to administer and develop over 1.475 million acres of mineral rights covering all of Osage County, Oklahoma. The Mineral Estate is owned by the Osage Tribe of Indians held in trust by the US Federal Government for the benefit of the Osage Headright Owners. As a Member of the Council he interacts with oil and gas companies within the Mineral Estate. He and other Council members have regular communications with officials in Washington DC with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and other Agencies under the US Department of Interior. Mr Revard has Degrees in Petroleum Geology and Petroleum Land Management.

Ricardo Rodil - Advisory Board

Ricardo is a highly effective Senior Oil and Gas Executive with more than 18 years of progressive experience in management across various sectors of the energy industry, in the US and internationally. A detail-oriented and diligent leader with a track record of success setting strategic direction, executing to plan, and leading teams to achieve outstanding results in challenging, and fast-paced business environments.

Mr Rodil’s experience includes being Senior Regional Manager in Panama for Halliburton for Latin America, working at C-Level in several independent oil companies in Columbia and Mexico. He has numerous certifications and Degrees and is expected to take a leading management position in South Plains Petroleum, Inc as the company grows.

Kari Phillips - Advisory Board

After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Kari Phillips started her oil and gas career with Halliburton as a fracturing engineer in Western Oklahoma.  Now a completions engineer with over 10 years of industry experience, Kari has shown diligence in her work.  Her experience includes roles in completions, drilling, and production, and has had the opportunity to work across several states including Oklahoma, Texas, North Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, and Louisiana.

Kari values communication, taking ownership, mentoring, and sharing knowledge.  Mentoring and sharing knowledge is one way to pay forward all of the excellent and patient mentors that she has had the pleasure to learn from along the way.

When not at the office, she is mothering two bright young children, working to complete a Master’s Degree in Natural Gas Engineering and Management from the University of Oklahoma, and occasionally enjoys painting and sketching.
