PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Kari Phillips started her oil and gas career with Halliburton as a fracturing engineer in Western Oklahoma. Now a completions engineer with over 10 years of industry experience, Kari has shown diligence in her work. Her experience includes roles in completions, drilling, and production, and has had the opportunity to work across several states including Oklahoma, Texas, North Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, and Louisiana.
Kari values communication, taking ownership, mentoring, and sharing knowledge. Mentoring and sharing knowledge is one way to pay forward all of the excellent and patient mentors that she has had the pleasure to learn from along the way.
When not at the office, she is mothering two bright young children, working to complete a Master’s Degree in Natural Gas Engineering and Management from the University of Oklahoma, and occasionally enjoys painting and sketching.
